I have turned comments on again for now. I still get way too much spam, but I am trying to handle it without having to turn off your ability to interact with me.

Miguel, there is a Wordpress plugin you can use that will eliminate the spam, or at least 99.9% of it. It’s called gatekeeper and it works great. It puts a security question on your comments form and you can make it ask different questions randomly to fool the bots. Check it out – it’s great. Since I installed it, zero spam. Yep, ZERO. Pretty sweet!
